Riot Shield Games is an independent game studio, operating as a subsidiary of International Technology Consulting, LLC. Founded in 2017, the studio builds games at the intersection of entertainment and education - titles where players learn Japanese, Mandarin, STEM, mathematics, and real-world finance not through instruction, but through play.

The studio’s flagship mobile title, Kanji Drop, has been downloaded more than 500,000 times and is widely recommended by Japanese educators. Chinese Drop brings the same falling-block language engine to Mandarin learners. A Stitch in Time is a VR and 3D art installation powered by MIT En-ROADS climate data, featured at Caltech during LA Climate Week 2025. The Adventure of Spyke - a classically styled 3D top-down action RPG designed by an MIT-educated electrophysics PhD - is currently in active development.
